Last updated 15 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Celvion Technologies Ltd (“Celvion”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our website, marketplace and services. By using Celvion, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Celvion Technologies Ltd operates the Celvion platform — the Nexus marketplace for solar (Volt), security (Shield) and smart-home systems, with installment financing (Flex) and professional installation (Atlas). We serve customers in Nigeria and Ghana and are based in Lagos and Accra. For any privacy question, contact us at info@celvion.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact details — name, phone number, email address and location, when you request a quote, book an install or create an account.
- Identity & KYC data — government identification type and number (such as NIN, BVN, voter's card or driver's licence) and date of birth, which we collect to verify your identity where financing or an order requires it. You must be at least 18 years old.
- Financial data — proof-of-payment documents for bank transfers, repayment history and the details of your Flex plan. We do not store full card details.
- Agreement data — the financing agreements you download, sign and upload, including your electronic signature.
- Usage & device data — information collected automatically as you use the site, such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, via cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your data
- Provide quotes, process orders and operate your Flex financing plan;
- Verify your identity (KYC) and prevent fraud;
- Schedule and deliver installation and after-sales service (Atlas);
- Communicate with you about your requests, orders, payments and account;
- Operate, secure and improve our website and services;
- Comply with our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
4. Lawful basis
We process your personal data where it is necessary to perform a contract with you, where you have given consent, where we must comply with a legal obligation, or where it is in our legitimate interests to operate and protect our business — provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
5. How we share your data
We share personal data only as needed to deliver our services, including with:
- Payment, identity-verification (KYC) and electronic-signature providers who process data on our behalf;
- Certified installation and field-service partners who carry out your deployment;
- Regulators, law-enforcement or other authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, financial and regulatory obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including access controls, encrypted transport and restricted document storage — to protect your personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request deletion of your data;
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@celvion.com.
9. Nigeria — data protection
For customers in Nigeria, we process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and applicable regulations issued by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). You have the right to lodge a complaint with the NDPC if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.
10. Ghana — data protection
For customers in Ghana, we handle personal data in line with applicable Ghanaian data-protection law and the principles set out in this policy.
11. Cookies
We use essential and functional cookies to run the site, remember your preferences and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.
